1 Peter 3:8-17 "To Do List"
When we value what is inside the box we will treat the box itself with greater care. We have been created in the image of God. Genesis 1:27 You, we and everyone around us, is made in His image.
Our To Do List Is:
Be in harmony with other Christians around you
Have compassion for one another
Have love for one another
Be tender hearted
Be courteous, respectful and kind
Be more like Jesus
Refrain your tongue from speaking evil. Proverbs 18:21
Seek peace and pursue it
Do not be afraid
Sanctify the Lord God in your heart
Spiritual discernment reveals that these are days of deception. Do not let your love grow cold. Matthew 24:9-12 If we respond to evil with evil then we have created more evil. Break the chain and do the opposite. That is what Jesus did. Let us now set apart our hearts for our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ. He is our living hope in this season.

1 Peter 3:1-7 "LikeWise:________"
The word to focus on in this study is “likewise” which is defined as similar and in a related way. Marriage is a relationship that many of us are in or many may soon be in. We need to represent our part of this union correctly so thot our prayers will not be hindered. This is by God’s design. Our words will not have as great of an impact in bringing people to faith in Jesus as our actions will. What we do will always be a greater impact.

1 Peter 2:18-25 "Pilgrim Principles" Part 2
This message reveals practical applications of powerful words written to us by the apostle Peter. As Christians, we are pilgrims who are journeying through these foreign lands. This world is not our home. We are not planning on staying here but are preparing for an eternal home. We must look, talk, think and act differently. We are born again for something better. We need to live in a way that brings praise, glory and honor to our Lord Jesus Christ. The world needs to see this joy, this peace, this love of Jesus in us by honoring all people. We do not want to look like everybody else. Did Jesus do this? Yes. This is our call. This is your call. This is our priority.
Jesus did all of this in order to bring us to a place so we can be reconciled back to God. We now have a living hope, a chief cornerstone that transcends this hopeless world. It is not about us it is about Jesus.
3 take away points are:
Let us learn to suffer well. Struggles are part of the Christian walk.
Let us work unto the Lord in all we do. So we can hear: well done good and faithful servant.
Let us live on mission. Bringing souls to Jesus.

1 Peter 2:11-17 "Pilgrim Principles" Part 1
Our actions affect those outside the Church. The unbelieving world measures Jesus by the way we as Christians conduct our lives. Our actions matter. Daily seeking Jesus should shape everything that we do. Three key points of this message are: strangers, submission and silence. Fleshly lusts war against the soul. That war is an indication of a transformation taking place in us. Peter makes 3 key points:
We are supposed to abstain
Those fleshly lusts war against our soul
These fleshly lusts center around autonomy
Let your identity as a Christian shape your decisions. Live as free, but as a bond servant of God.
