This message reveals practical applications of powerful words written to us by the apostle Peter. As Christians, we are pilgrims who are journeying through these foreign lands. This world is not our home. We are not planning on staying here but are preparing for an eternal home. We must look, talk, think and act differently. We are born again for something better. We need to live in a way that brings praise, glory and honor to our Lord Jesus Christ. The world needs to see this joy, this peace, this love of Jesus in us by honoring all people. We do not want to look like everybody else. Did Jesus do this? Yes. This is our call. This is your call. This is our priority.
Jesus did all of this in order to bring us to a place so we can be reconciled back to God. We now have a living hope, a chief cornerstone that transcends this hopeless world. It is not about us it is about Jesus.
3 take away points are:
Let us learn to suffer well. Struggles are part of the Christian walk.
Let us work unto the Lord in all we do. So we can hear: well done good and faithful servant.
Let us live on mission. Bringing souls to Jesus.
Life changing inspirational truths are referenced and located in this week’s Study Guide.
Accept today God’s free gift of salvation. Call upon the name of the Lord and be saved. Seek Him while He can still be found. His evidence is all around us. How is your heart? If you have questions, need someone to talk to or would just like to say hi, contact us.
