Hebrews 11:4 "Faith Accepted"

God is the sun, you cannot look at it, but without it, you cannot see anything. Then if God is the sun then faith is our eyes.

Three key points in this message are; accepted, approved and audible.

1. Don’t give God what you want, give to God what He wants

2. First offer your heart, then give to God your sacrifice

3. Trust God to work through injustice

Here is the progression. At first we did not care, then we cared, then we wanted to give what was important to us, then we wanted to give what is important to Him. It is the heart not the sacrifice. When God asks a question, He is trying to tell us something.

Psalm 51 "Divine Dialogue" Part 4

Assistant Pastor March Villareal teaches from Psalm 51 in the continuation of Divine Dialogue, Part 4.

Psalm 51 is a prayer of reconciliation. Sin acknowledged, salvation understood and sacrifice clarified. If we do not grieve how God grieves, we need to stop and check ourselves. Salvation is that we have not sinned beyond God’s ability to forgive. He will restore us. Wash us white as snow. Empty us and then fill us with His words of life.

• Let us realize what we can do and what only God can do.

• Let us not create obstacles where there are none

• Let us strive to respond rightly to low feelings

• Let us seek after the right sacrifices

• Let our perspective be grace, gratitude, worship and ministry

If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

4 Pillars of Prayer:

1. Repentance verses 3-6 II Corinthians 7:10

2. Recognition verses 7-12 Revelation 16:7

3. Remembrance verses 13-15 Psalm 77:11

4. Request verses 16-19 Psalm 51:17

Let us allow God’s word to align our heart to God’s heart. Let us seek after an honest prayer not a polished one. Let prayer cause us to look upward and outward.
